have a crush on 迷恋某人

A: I'm having this huge crush on Ted. I'm going to try and see if I
can ask
him out this weekend.
A: 我最近好喜欢Ted 喔! 我想看看能不能约他这个周末出来。
B: Well...But I heard that he is already seeing somebody.
B: 嗯……但是我听说他已经有了交往的对象了诶!
美国人关于交友的用词和我们有些不同。这里的 "he is seeing somebody" 有可能指他刚正开始和某人交往,
也可能指他和对方已经交往了一阵子。还有一个美国人常用来形容他们的「感情状况」的字是"relationship"。到目前为止，我还不能找到一个很贴切的中文来代替它。
不过, 如果例句中的"...But I heard that he is already seeing somebody." 改成
"...But I heard that he is already is a serious relationship with
somebody." 就惨了。因为那表示这个叫Ted 的男生不但是「死会」了, 而且是「非常地死会」。各位应该可以大致抓到它的意思吧。

英语中常会用到的口头禅分享

You can say that again！这句话的意思是「我同意你」（I agree with you.）或「你对了」（You are right.）例如：

When the professor spoke on human rights, the students responded, "You can say that again！"（当教授谈到人权时；学生回答说：「你说得对！」）

虽然这句话的主词通常只用第二人称单数 You，但在某些情况下，也可以用其他人称。例如： When we heard Mr. Clinton's speech on tax reduction, my wife turned to me and said, "He can say that again！"（当我们听到柯林顿先生减税的讲演时，内人转头对我说：「他说得对！」）

Give Me a Break
范例：Oh, come on. Give me a break. 噢，算了吧。别开玩笑了。
句型解说：“Give me a break.” 是一句很流行的话。但凡你听到别人说一个消息、的一件事或任何一句话，你挺了不相信，都可以回他一句 “give me a break”, 既清楚表达了不相信他说的话，而且又充分地运用了一句流行的英语(论坛)。“give me a break”“get out of here”都有不相信对方的意思。但“get out of here” 所表达的不相信中，含有兴奋的意味。例如：有人说你漂亮，你回答他说：“别骗我了，要用get out of here，而不用give me a break。因为别人的说你漂亮，你虽然说别开玩笑了，事实上正芳心暗喜呢。
灵活运用：
1.Mary: Do you know who is going with John ?
你知道谁是John的女朋友吗？
Jack: Ann Lee? Give me a break。
